Come and be inspired by this beautiful area of south west France. Roam freely in the unspoilt countryside where the only sounds to disturb the tranquility are the birdsong, cow bells tinkling in the distance and the bubbling of small streams. The landscape varies from lush green rolling meadows to the sharp rocky peaks of the majestic Pyrenees. Small villages nestle in the valleys and vineyards are dotted on the hillsides growing the grapes for the golden Jurancon wines. Wherever you go there are new things to see and photograph.

This is a 6 day trip aimed at the enthusiastic amateur photographer who would like to be taken to some great landscape and nature locations.

Each day we will go on an excursion into the Pyrénées:
a day at Gavarnie, walking down the beautiful river valley to the foot of the spectacular waterfalls (the largest in Europe); a drive over the border to Spain, see the contrast in the landscape between the two sides and view vultures thermalling above the rocky cliffs; an early morning start to capture the dawn over the mountains.
 
In the evening we will spend time downloading and viewing images taken during the day and discussing their finer points over a glass of wine. Each safari will be tailored to suit the needs of the group.
